The Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria is today (Thursday) hosting an event entitled Mapungubwe: The Reconciliation. This is part of their Day of Reconciliation celebrations where they will be focusing on indigenous knowledge systems, ancient civilizations in Southern Africa which the then apartheid government tried to hide like the treasures of Mapungubwe.
