The First Friday Film Club is a dynamic and engaging monthly program hosted at Javett-UP, aimed at building a vibrant community around filmmaking while spotlighting local films and filmmakers. Launched in 2022, this initiative seeks to provide an interactive platform where filmmakers, students, and the general audience come together to share their passion for the art of cinema. We believe in fostering collaboration and exploration in filmmaking, transcending geographical boundaries through virtual connections with international guests via Zoom.
This Friday, 04 August 2023 we are screening Tina Turner's documentary as part of our latest collaboration with the American Film Showcase.
